Statement of
Purpose

The purpose of the
congregation shall be
as stated in
Article II of the
Salem
Constitution:

1. To worship God as
directed in the Holy
Scriptures.
(John 4:23-24,
Hebrews 10:25)

2. To bring the
spiritually lost to
a saving knowledge
of Jesus Christ.
(John 3:16-18,
Matthew 28:19-20)

3. To establish firmly
and to provide
opportunity
for developing and
expressing the
Christian faith to its
members.
(Ephesians 4:12-13)

4. To support and to
participate in missions
and Christian service.
(Matthew 28:19-20)

5. To conduct the church
in accordance with the
doctrines of the Holy
Scriptures.

6. To help in every way
possible in building
God's Kingdom
